Exhibition Artwork
During my junior year of high school I applied for a district (twenty-five schools) competition where I would be chosen in a blind competition to recreate my art work for an exposition. This involved recreating four art pieces I have submitted into five feet by six feet. My four art work got picked out of ten in total. I was commissioned these art pieces, with paid for supplies and paid for my work afterwords.
Flowers

This piece was created using wood as a canvas and paper to make the origami flowers, then it was spraypainted with different hues of purple. My inspiration was the Purple Saxifrage that grows on the side of mountains. This art work was chosen to be put in the superintendence's office.
Stars

Stars were inspired by the galaxies and stardust. This art piece was made out of wood as a canvas and encoustics which is hot wax.
Roots

Roots was inspired my tree roots and branches. This abstract piece is made out of wood as a canvas and acrylic paint.
Caves

Caves were inspired by natural rock formations and clay that shift through colors. This art piece was made with wax sticks, mineral spirits, and paper.
